My introduction to meditation was with Mary Maddox and her Meditation Oasis podcasts. She's very calming and this is a nice, relaxing intro to guided meditations.

Michael Sealy.jpg

Michael Sealy has a youtube channel with meditations that are long and easy to fall asleep to. Not that you want to fall asleep instead of meditating, happens. And if you want it to, Michael Sealy will relax you so much that you can finally fall asleep.

Okay, ready for the big guns? Dr. Joe Dispenza has downloadable meditations on his web site. They are not free, but worth every cent. You listen again and again. In fact, he suggests you listen to Blessings of the Energy Centers every morning.

The walking meditation is great. You walk while you listen, and project yourself in to your future. A future of your design, of course.

His Changing Your Beliefs and Perceptions is a great big WHAM! on the psyche. It's amazing.

Now, to get downright serious about meditation, check out the famous Transcendental Meditation. This is the meditation technique that was brought to the United States in the 1960's by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.

It is iconic in the meditation culture, and is the Cadillac of meditation techniques.

To learn it, you must have a teacher and go to 7 sessions. You can't learn it on line, it is an ancient tradition that is passed down from teacher to student.

And it's expensive, but there is a sliding scale based on your  income.

I have been doing it since August of 2018 and I have to say, there is nothing else like it.
